High school diploma or equivalent plus any combination of relevant work experience, technical schools or college education equivalent to 5-7 years.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

Ability to work independently and foster team work amongst coworker; supervise junior technicians as required. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Have a strong mechanical background.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals.
  • Operate test equipment for performance assessment. 
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience making repair and replace decisions.
  • Be able to communicate and teach ACU-802 to end users in classroom and hands on training environments.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and work unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures. 
  • Have a valid current passport or be able to obtain one within 4 months of hire; travel OCONUS as needed. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel are required.

Must be US Citizen and have a clearance or be able to obtain a DOD Secret level upon hire.

Position Summary: Perform maintenance and repair on ACU-802 aircraft heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards. Provide training to end users on the use and preventive maintenance of the ACU-802. Perform Maintenance on various Environmental Control Units as requested by our customer. This position requires frequent travel. OCONUS and CONUS.

Under limited supervision, provides technical support in the areas of analysis, verification, measurement support, and equipment characteristics.

Collects technical data from appropriate documentation (e.g., technical manuals and internal and external reports), automated files, and other staff.

Determines and interprets equipment characteristics data, performs necessary analysis, and transcribes to required formats.

Provides analysis and assembly of systems and sub-systems. 

Assists engineers in moderately technical aspects of project work.

Acquires a working knowledge of the organizations databases and of the types of information stored in each file.

Assists in the training of less experienced staff.

Assists in the preparation of appropriate technical documentation.

As required, verbally presents information at project review sessions and in informal interface with customers.

Complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.
